Mary J. Getten of Orcas Island and Bob Emerson of Olympia would like to share the joy of their decision to join their lives together. They met late last year and quickly formed a deep loving connection. Mary and Bob share a love of animals and nature, and are excellent communicators (they talk a lot).

Mary, a telepathic animal communicator, author, and local marine naturalist, has lived in the islands for 18 years, most of them on Orcas. Bob works for the Port of Tacoma and has a home near Olympia on Puget Sound. 

Their plans include a September wedding on Orcas Island with family and friends. The couple will live in Olympia while Bob finishes up his career. They plan to return to Orcas, or may establish home base on another tropical island.

Bob is enjoying meeting Mary’s many friends and they both hope to maintain those friendships in the years to come.
