The Skagit Habitat for Humanity Store truck will be at Island Market on Aug. 17 from noon to 3 p.m. to accept donations.

For the past 18 months, this has been an option for islanders while the Exchange is inoperative.

Bring your “gently used” furniture, working appliances, building materials, hand tools (even the rusty ones), lumber, electrical, plumbing, and more. Watch for the flyers around Eastsound for more information.

If you have a particularly large item to donate that might be a chore to bring to Island Market, contact Duff at 376-3032 to see if a morning pickup might be arranged.
