A home in the Rosario area is a complete loss after a reported woodstove fire.
Orcas Fire and Rescue responded to a fully involved structure fire in the 100 block of Cascade Way around 12:15 p.m. on Jan. 9.
By 7 p.m. the fire was knocked down and the property cordoned off. Neighbors will still see smoke throughout the night as the structure continues to smolder. OIFR volunteers will continue to monitor the scene.
The occupant believes the house may have caught fire from a wood stove. The fire marshal will conduct an investigation to determine the cause.
