William Yukluk, 29, of Friday Harbor, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and for unlawful use and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a press release. Yukluk was taken to the San Juan County Jail and charges are being filed in San Juan County Superior Court.

A San Juan deputy conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation that occurred at Second Street and Spring Street at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 2. The deputy identified the driver as Yukluk. During the traffic stop, the deputy observed a clear glass pipe with a white crystalline substance inside of it. Further investigation revealed two small baggies, one with a white powdery substance and the other with a clear crystalline shard. Baggies, cash and a scale were also discovered in the vehicle.
