St. Agnes Guild’s 61st Annual Market Day will be held Saturday, July 24, on the Episcopal Church lawn from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Market Day is a major fund-raising project, with all proceeds going to charity, mostly to our Orcas Island community to benefit local organizations such as the Food Bank, Kaleidoscope, Children’s House, the Funhouse, Domestic Violence, Orcas Recreation, Hearts and Hands and the Senior Center.
This event will feature fresh homemade pies and other baked goods, and a “beautiful Silver Tea” in the new Parish Hall. Hot dogs and cold sodas will be served outdoors.
“It is a great opportunity to look for bargains from St. Agnes’ attic on the tables of games, puzzles, CDs, special books, household goods, jewelry and other “treasures” for all ages on the lawn,” organizers say. “Don’t miss this annual Orcas traditional event!”
