Matthew Keenan graduates from Air Force

Airman First Class, Matthew Keenan – graduate of Orcas High School, 2003 – graduated with honors from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Tex. on Aug. 4, 2008. He has been transfered to Goodfellow Air Force Base, San Angelo, Tex., into the Department of Defense Fire Fighting Program.

Airman First Class, Matthew Keenan – graduate of Orcas High School, 2003 – graduated with honors from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Tex. on Aug. 4, 2008. He has been transfered to Goodfellow Air Force Base, San Angelo, Tex., into the Department of Defense Fire Fighting Program.

From there, he will be stationed at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas, to serve his military service while he completes his courses in Fire Science.

Keenan also announces his engagement to Ashley Powell of Vancouver, Wash. A wedding is planned for July 2009.
