Before the contest began and while the men were being hosed down by Mistress of Moisture Laura Leicht, cancer survivor Ethna Flanagan spoke about the importance of mammograms and early detection. Educational information was also posted in both restrooms.

While noting that all the men were gorgeous winners for helping them, the organizers revealed to the crowd of approximately 100 supporters that the panel of anonymous judges had selected Larry North as the Most Original contestant and noted that Adam Bartram garnered the most donations.

Organizers Mia Kartiganer and Rachel Newcombe expressed gratitude to the Lower Tavern for hosting the event, Tre Fabu for the donation of a slick bright-red raincoat and to the Buzzbombs band. For those wishing to make a donation, the website is www.3day.org.
