Missing Orcas man found and in stable condition

Orcas Fire and Rescue personnel and San Juan County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a home on Pea Pod Lane in the Sea Acres neighborhood on Jan. 14 to help with the search El Fattal, who was reported missing since approximately 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 13.

Emergency responders have located an Orcas man who went missing on Jan. 13. Michael El Fattal was found around 9 a.m. this morning and is in stable medical condition.

Orcas Fire and Rescue personnel and San Juan County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a home on Pea Pod Lane in the Sea Acres neighborhood on Jan. 14 to help with the search El Fattal, who was reported missing since approximately 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 13. The search began around 12:30 a.m.

El Fattal, 55, was reported to have left his home on foot and was not been seen since. The early morning search included a U.S. Coast Guard Helicopter, the San Juan County Sheriff’s vessel and a ground search by emergency responders.
