This letter is to notify you that Orcas Elementary School will be under new leadership for the 2016-17 school year. I can assure you that great care will be taken in the selection of the individual who will be working with our students, families and faculty. It is entirely possible that it may be necessary to initially hire a talented and experienced interim to fill this position so we may take the time to search for and select the outstanding principal that our students and faculty deserve!

The position will officially open following the July 14 school board meeting. I will continue to communicate with you via email as we move forward in our search for a new elementary school principal.
