Community forum about the school

Join Orcas School on Thursday, March 30, 5:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria for a community forum on “Where do we go from here? Help us keep our schools competitive and viable in the 21st century.” Childcare will be offered in the school library – RSVP to cferran@orcas.k12.wa.us.

‘Connection Practice’

Sharon Abreu and Michael Hurwicz will present a three-hour workshop on The Connection Practice at the Emmanuel Parish Hall on Sunday, March 26 from 12:30–3:30 p.m.

“Our current political situation is generating so much fear, anger, conflict and chaos, that it can shatter our ability to connect with other people in a positive, empathic way,” said Abreu and Hurwicz. The Connection Practice is a tool that can help: increase rapport and deepen connections and prevent or resolve conflicts. Register by March 23 at http://connectionpracticecoach.com/registration/.
