Orcas Island Yacht Club hosted the second annual Ray Jarecki Youth Regatta on the West Sound July 30 and 31. The regatta is one of seven that make up the Northwest Youth Racing Circuit summer racing series. Sixty-three sailors ages 8-19 from all over the northwest participated in the two day regatta and fun was had by all. A total of 39 races were completed in four classes of boats over the two days, with tight racing in each class.
