Recent graduates who completed the babysitting clinic offered by Margie Sabine through the Orcas Recreation Program are ready to be of service.

“The five-hour course provided youth with lessons about safety, basic childcare, safe play and emergency action skills. Other topics included interviewing for a babysitting job, diapering and feeding techniques.

“This is a great way to help kids figure out if they want to babysit and to give them the tools to be confident, safe and prepared for the responsibilities of babysitting,” Sabine said.
