Orcas Chamber to host Annual Meeting

The Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual Membership meeting on Thursday, Oct. 30 at the Outlook Inn’s New Leaf Café in Eastsound. Chamber members, and non-members interested in joining, are encouraged to attend. “This is the perfect opportunity to meet and socialize with other business members, as well as hear about all the exciting events unfolding for the Chamber,” says the Chamber’s Executive Director, Lance Evans.

The Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual Membership meeting on Thursday, Oct. 30 at the Outlook Inn’s New Leaf Café in Eastsound. Chamber members, and non-members interested in joining, are encouraged to attend. “This is the perfect opportunity to meet and socialize with other business members, as well as hear about all the exciting events unfolding for the Chamber,” says the Chamber’s Executive Director, Lance Evans.

The night begins at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour featuring hors d’oeuvres and a no-host bar. At 6 p.m., the Annual Membership meeting will get underway with an update from the SJI Visitor’s Bureau, a brief discussion on what’s happening at the Chamber and the introduction of new Chamber members. Then the festivities begin with the third Annual Orcas Island version of “Deal or No Deal.” There will also be door prizes awarded throughout the evening.

As a special bonus for Chamber Members, New Leaf Café’s Executive Chef Sean Paul Frank has created a special four course prix fixe dining menu for those members who would like to take part.

The dinner cost is $49 plus tax per person and there will be a single seating at 7:30 p.m. (reservations are required). Those interested are asked to make a reservation by Friday, Oct. 24 by calling the Outlook Inn at 376-2200.
