Orcas Island Community Foundation is calling for proposals for the 2019 GiveOrcas Grant Program. Any nonprofit serving Orcas Island is invited to apply now through March 8 for an annual grant.

All applicants are encouraged to discuss their proposal with OICF before submission. An informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at the Emmanuel Parish Hall from 3:30-5 p.m. to talk about the process, answer questions, and explain our funding campaign strategies.

OICF’s primary goal is to enhance and preserve the quality of life on Orcas Island. To accomplish this goal, OICF distributes funds from the Community Endowment on an annual basis and the grants are supplemented with funds from its “Partners in Philanthropy” through the GiveOrcas three-week campaign in May.
