Orcas Conservatory is an ongoing series of classes offered by Orcas Center. Winter classes are now open for enrollment.
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays in OffCenter, Maria Bullock, dancer and aerial ballet artist, is offering aerial classes for children ages six to 16 and adults. The classes are scheduled in age appropriate sessions.
Also, on Wednesday evenings, for those interested in furthering their knowledge and critical thinking about music, Roger Sherman is offering a four-week lecture with demos on Bach’s music.
On Thursdays, Grace McCune, singer, musical theatre actor and teacher, is conducting her children’s chorus and the Rock on Rock chorus for adults.
Saturdays in OffCenter, Jake Perrine, a children’s acting instructor and director, will be teaching an active and fun class in physical acting for ages 10 to 12.
Tuesdays–Thursdays, Mathew Olsen, Director of the Orcas String Studio, teaches violin and viola to students from ages three to 103. To schedule classes at Orcas Center with Olsen directly, call his cell at 360-317-4145 or email him at orcasstringstudio@me.com.
