Started on May 26, the Orcas Island School District wants to hear from you about … hearing from you. We are looking to better understand how we send out information — and how we receive information. We want to understand how you communicate with our schools and how we communicate with you. It is our hope that this survey will help us to create better and easier ways of messaging what is going on in the OISD. To that end, we have created a short, seven-question survey in which we hope you participate.
According to Superintendent Eric Webb, “Effective communication with our parents, staff, and community is paramount. This survey is designed to provide feedback on how well OISD is providing communication to students, parents, staff, and community, and what we can do to expand and improve communication.”
Everyone (staff, parents, students, community members) can help by completing the survey. The greater the participation the more useful and meaningful the information we receive will be. And based on this information, we will be able to look at how we keep in contact with you, and how you contact us – and improve those systems if needed.
The survey is in Spanish and English. You can access the survey through the school website: orcasislandschools.org. Or you can go directly to it through this link: https://forms.gle/88qF92kCZAMoG6ec. Please take a look and tell your friends to take it too!
