The following was submitted by the Orcas Kiwanis Club.
The paper airplane contest was a rousing success on Saturday, March 7.
Prizes were awarded to many smiling Orcas Island children, including those for the most beautiful airplane.
A great time was had by all – especially the adults.
A shout out to both the Key Club members and the Kiwanis Club members who volunteered their help on Saturday.
We also wish to thank the school district for the use of the gym, and our amazing sponsors who helped make our contest possible.
