The Pederson girls are featured artists at the Gallery in Eastsound through August.

Anne Pedersen is long-time Orcas resident and one of the founders of The Gallery. She is an accomplished artist but seems now to be basking more in the success of her daughters.

Janet Pederson resides in Brooklyn, New York and is active in the art community there as well as on Orcas. She is a illustrator and author of children’s books and is teaching an online class at the University of San Francisco.

Lisa Pederson lives in Santa Barbara, but is also a part-time resident of Orcas. She is active in the Santa Barbara art community and exhibits her work in her own gallery there.

There is an opening reception on Friday, Aug. 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. The Gallery is located at 374 North Beach Road, across from Enzo’s. Hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
