Ray’s Pharmacy vaccine and COVID-19 testing update | Letter

Ray’s Pharmacy has expanded its vaccination services to now include COVID-19 vaccinations. Flu and shingles vaccinations may be scheduled by calling the pharmacy to schedule your appointment. All community members who currently qualify for COVID-19 vaccinations may call the pharmacy to put their name on our call list and we will contact you to schedule an appointment. To reach the pharmacy please call 360-376-2230, press 1 for the pharmacy, and 0 to speak with a member of our staff. If you own a business that now qualifies and has more than 10 employees, please contact Rick Hughes at 360-472-0253 or starwave96@hotmail.com to arrange for your employees to receive vaccinations as part of our B2B program.

As of today, all shots will be Moderna, and the clinics will be given at Ray’s Pharmacy.

Ray’s will be able to do COVID testing, with both rapid antigen and molecular by late April or early May.

Thanks to the help of many amazing volunteers and Ray’s staff, over 600 vaccines have been given with more to come!

Ray’s General Store and Pharmacy is partnering with the State of Washington, San Juan County, Orcas Island Hospital District, Island Hospital, OFHC and the Orcas Center to help provide Covid-19 vaccines to the residents of Orcas Island.

Please continue to wear a mask, socially distance, wash your hands, quarantine if sick, check on your neighbors and be nice!
