Rick Gerring

May 3, 1955 – Jan 18, 2016

Beloved friend and brother Rick Gerring of Lopez Island passed away in his sleep on the morning of Jan. 18, 2016. He was surrounded by loved ones at that time, as he is now. He excelled at many things in his life including running Lopez Island Electric, running a farm, building ukuleles and playing music.

A celebration will be held in his honor at The Galley on Feb. 20 at 8 p.m. on Lopez. This will be a potluck and will include a time for remembrances and a jam session in his honor.
