Road no longer flooded on Orcas

Cascade Lake was getting dangerously high and at least one road was experiencing partial flooding. The rain has since stopped and the water is no longer posing a danger to driver.

Cascade Lake was noticeably high, although the condition is not unusual for this time of year, according to Moran State Park Manager Jim Schuh. He says there are still four feet of snow on the mountain.

The rain has since stopped and the lake is no longer noticeably high.
