Laurie Cameron, Managing Director of Olympus Real Estate Partners, has announced that Rosario Resort and Marina, which it owns, will be offered at auction on or about Sept. 30, 2008.

Although there have been and continue to be many expressions of interest in the property according to Cameron, none has come to fruition. “This is a positive way to bring closure to a complex selling process,” Cameron noted.

Olympus Real Estate Partners, owners of Rosario since Oct. 1998, spent seven years pursuing and finally obtaining a Resort Master Plan for Rosario in 2007, which Olympus said was the only financially viable way for the Resort to continue. Future owners of the property may either perform under the Resort Master Plan or pursue other zoning interests.
