Today, Wednesday, Aug. 29, the Samish ferry on the San Juan Islands route is approximately an hour behind schedule due to mechanical issues that began on Aug. 28. On Tuesday, the Samish operated at reduced speed delaying several sailings by up to three hours throughout the day. Updates will be provided when more information becomes available.
