Orcas Medical Center plans to charge a $3 fee for administering flu shots to children up to age 19, beginning in October.

Dr. Anthony Giefer of the Medical Center said that it’s not too early to sign up now, to make sure that a dosage is set aside for children to be vaccinated when the flu vaccine comes from the state in October.
