Most of the County’s non-judicial offices, and its solid waste facilities on San Juan and Orcas Islands, will be closed Friday, June  10, the second of the County’s five budget-related employee furlough days during 2011.

County operations that will remain open include the courts, emergency dispatch and the Sheriff’s department and the elections department, which will be open to receive candidate filings.

The Lopez solid waste facility, which does not operate on Fridays, is observing its furlough day on Wednesday, June 8.
