A special Board of Fire Commissioners meeting will be held next Tuesday, August 11 at 1:30 p.m. at the construction site of the new Deer Harbor Fire Station (13 Legend Lane off Channel road).

This site is next to the current fire station in Deer Harbor. The reason for this meeting is to show the site to contractors bidding on the new station and to answer their questions about the project. The public is invited to attend.

The regular Board of Commissioners meeting for August will also be held August 11 in Eastsound at 7:30 p.m.
