The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association has given Jim Passer the “Coach of the Year” award for his dedication to the Viking baseball team.

The following Orcas Vikings baseball and softball players earned All-League recognition.

Boys first team: Vanya Bullock (10th grade), Miles Harlow (11th grade) and Anthony Kaskurs (12th grade).

Boys second team: Pasha Bullock (12th grade).

Honorable mentions: Mackey Cardinell (12th grade) and Kellen Maier (10th grade).

Girls first team: Jessie Nichols (10th grade), Bethany Hansen (11th grade).

Girls second team: Katy Minnis (10th grade) and Emily Nichols (12th grade).
