County Council Members Richard Fralick, District 4, Orcas West, Gene Knapp, District 5, Orcas East, County Administrator Pete Rose and County Auditor Milene Henley are presenting a Town Hall Meeting at the Eastound Fire Station on Thursday, Aug. 6, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Details of a countywide property tax increase currently under consideration will be discussed as well as public input about its structure. Additional items for discussion will be the current county budget crisis, the Uplands’ Critical Areas Ordinance, the Shoreline Master Plan Update, the Eastsound peddling and sign ordinances and other important issues facing the county.
