The Orcas Island Library will give away treats to children this halloween that are guaranteed to last longer than a bag full of candy.
Parents are invited to bring their children to Trick-or-Treat for Books at the Orcas Island Library at 500 Rose Street on Saturday, Oct. 31 between 4 and 6 p.m. Every child will walk away with a treat they can read instead of eat.
Kids can also model their costumes for the camera.
Trick-or-Treat for Books will continue after the library closes in the meeting room.
