Would you like to be a part of the team that makes the fair great? The San Juan County Fair needs department superintendents and volunteers for the 2009 fair in addition to volunteers to help throughout the year.

Fair department superintendents o coordinate the exhibits, volunteers and demonstrations. They work to ensure entries are submitted correctly, displayed and judged. Staff and the board give support to the volunteers and they receive assistance setting up and decorating. Without volunteers, the departments may not be able to receive entries this year.

Current openings include: Fruit, Vegetables, Crafts & Woodworking, Food Preservation, Junior Arts & Crafts, Beer and Wine and Grains & Forage Plants.
