John and Faith Heath of Orcas Island announce the marriage of their daughter, Heather Joy Heath to Ralph Kenneth “Bo” Smith, Jr., Dec. 20, 2008 at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church in Weddington, N.C.

Celebrating this joyous occasion with them were Ralph and Patty Smith, parents of the groom, who reside in Laurens, S.C.

Heather teaches 5th grade at Carmel Christian School in Charlotte, N.C. where she also resides, and Bo teaches High School Social Studies and coaches football at White Knoll High School in the Greater West Columbia, S.C. area, where he also resides.

The couple plan to reside together as of this coming June in Charlotte, N.C.

The parents of the bride plan to honor and introduce the new couple with a reception on the evening of April 8 during the Spring-Easter break at the Orcas Island Community Church.
