Rock and roll concert, There will be a showcase of rock n’ roll bands at Odd Fellows Hall, starting at 8 p.m. There is a $5 entry fee.

Sunday, Dec. 28

Baroque Concert, Emmanuel Episcopal Church is pleased to once again host harpsichordist George Shangrow and flutist Jeffrey Cohan performing a selection of seasonal Baroque music at 6 p.m. They will be joined this year by special guest soprano Linda Tsatsanis.

Wednesday, Dec. 31

Labryinth Walk, Everyone is welcome to attend an evening of peaceful reflection, receiving calmness, and tranquility during the New Year’s Eve Labyrinth Walk. The event is presented by the Emmanuel Episcopal Parish Church from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

New Year’s Eve Ball, “Let’s Dance” is the theme of the annual New Year’s Eve ball, sponsored by Orcas Dance Club and to be held in Orcas Center’s Madrona Room. The public is invited; tickets are $40 and may be purchased at Kay’s Antiques, Eastsound. Music will be provided by the Steve Alboucq band. Doors will open at 8:30 p.m. The music starts at 9. Hors d’oeuvres will be available and champagne will be served at midnight.
