Calvin ‘Cal’ McLachlan

1926 – 2021

On April 16, 2021, Calvin McLachlan went to be with his Lord and Savior. Cal was born in 1926 at Deer Harbor on Orcas Island.

Cal taught school in Anacortes where he taught for 33 years. He retired from teaching in 1983 and moved to the family homestead at Deer Harbor on Orcas Island.

Cal was preceded in death by his parents, William and Edith McLachlan, his wife, Clarena, of 60 years. He leaves three daughters Cherry McLachlan, Mary (Ralph) Carr, Jill (Dennis) Standeford and one granddaughter, Janelle (Tim) Brewer.
