David Bruce Sarver passed away peacefully on Jan. 15, 2020, in Seattle, Washington just before his 81st birthday on Feb. 1.

He was preceded in death by parents and first wife Jane. He is survived by wife Maxine, son Evan and daughter Valerie.

David was born in Ohio, went to school in Illinois and was partner and head of the tax department for 14 years at a firm in Minnesota. His family moved to California in 1988 where he met and married Maxine. In 2000, he and Maxine moved to Orcas Island where they built a dream home in Deer Harbor. David volunteered at the hospital; they made many friends and loved island life.

In 2016, they moved to Issaquah. David loved the outdoors, especially trout fishing. He was a steady force to many families for tax and financial advice. He was a loving husband and father. Donations to David’s favorite organizations are welcome: Trout Unlimited and The Nature Conservancy.
