Dennis F. Koher, 65, passed away on March 18, 2006 in Toledo, Wash.
He was born on Oct. 13, 1940 in Morton to Alfred and Frances (Donahue) Koher. Mr. Koher lived in Toledo for eight years, having come from Orcas Island, where he lived for 30 years. He was raised in the Randle area, and he was a 1958 White Pass High School graduate. He married Gail Harper in 1962, and was married for 28 years. He later married Marjorie Cates-McCall in 1998.
He owned and operated Sea-Island Sand and Gravel. Mr. Koher owned and enjoyed flying his plane. He very much enjoyed his horses, and operating equipment on his farm. He also enjoyed camping and traveling, but was not able to stay away too long at a time. He was currently helping his son develop an RV park on the Toutle River.
Dennis is survived by his wife Marjorie at home, sons Kelly Koher of Toledo and step-son Hugh McCall of Longview, step-daughter Rodena Colkitt of Parker, Colo., and sister Marjorie Lloyd (Paul) of Centralia. Also surviving are two grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
