Jane Bristow released her last breath on Oct. 31, 2019. Her 98-year journey ended an era.

Mom’s spirit and hands were one. She was extraordinarily tuned to other’s needs. A caretaker; a healer of mind and body; and a nurse and counselor by trade. Mom had an honest involvement in life.

She was wife to Maurice for 59 years and mother to five children.

Mom entered each day with open curiosity, allowing the essence of life to enter her.

Mom and Dad gave us the gift of respect for nature and life through the many trips to oceans, mountains, deserts and rivers.

She was once asked, “Are your children religious?” Her reply, “Yes! They whisper when they’re in the woods.”

This was our Teacher.

This was our Mom.
