December 3, 1953 – December 7, 2024

Lorraine Denise Fast, 71, of Olga, Washington, passed away December 7, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on December 3, 1953.

Lori was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, a successful artist and an avid student of classical ballet.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Charles, daughter Kathryn, and brothers, Kurt and Michael.

Lori earned a bachelor of arts degree at Sonoma State University, California.

In San Francisco, she worked in the travel industry, affording opportunities for extensive world travel. She married Charles in 1982, then came their daughter Kathryn in 1984. In 2006 they moved to Orcas Island, settling in Olga. As a manager at Rosario Resort, she found time to fulfill her passion for live drawing, landscape in watercolor and pastel.

Lori’s works adorn the walls of homes throughout the country.

To her many friends and neighbors, much gratitude is due for their support, especially during her last days.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
