High fire danger means only recreational fires

This means there will be no more burning allowed other than recreational fires.

The definition of a recreational fire is 2 foot or less on bare soil, gravel, below tide line on the beach or in an approved fire pit. Do not burn garbage such as cans, paper plates or plastic wrappers. Fire size must be two-feet or less. Flames must be two- foot or less. A minimum of two feet of safe space around the fire must be maintained.

Fires must be completely extinguished by using plenty of water and stirring the embers until the heat is gone.
