Several times DeGraaf tore down the court and in text-book layups put it in for the Lady Lobos. The Lopez team scored well on their free throws, putting in much better percentages and taking the opportunity to get points wherever they could. Moira Crawford helped the Lady Lobos defensively as well as offensively, by staying on her guard and refusing to give in to an aggressive defense.

Vilina Sanborn-Bill came in and dove for the ball out of bounds, saving the play and Brooke Schober took several confident shots at the field goal as well. Though the Ladies succumbed in the final score, their scoring drive throughout the game displayed impressive vigor and persistence.

The Lady Lobos played again Feb. 2 against North Sound Christian at Lopez High School.
