After suffering a disappointing loss in La Conner (45-27) last Tuesday, the Lady Vikings battled back on Friday night to beat the Mount Vernon Christian Hurricanes 60 to 51.

The girls’ display of energy was contagious, and the fans caught on. Every player on the team scored, and the team’s rebounding was at its best so far this season with a record high of 43 rebounds.

Bella Nigretto led in scoring with 19 points followed closely by Kathryn Tidwell with 14. Together they combined for 22 of the team’s rebounds with 11 each.

The Lady Vikings have a busy schedule this week, hosting Darrington at home on Friday, Jan. 13.
