Orcas High School fall sports practice begins at the end of August

Practice for Orcas High School football begins Aug. 19 and soccer and volleyball begins Aug. 24.

In order to practice on the first day, students must have: current physical with all information and signatures (good for two years), medical insurance through a family medical policy or a purchased school plan, a completed participation agreement, medical release form and insurance information form, and paid a participation fee.

In order to participate in games or meets students must have all of the above expectations satisfied, 12 practices in football, and 10 practices in volleyball and soccer.

Practices do not count until all physicals, insurance, etc., are completed and on file in the office. Only one practice per day counts toward the practice requirement.
