Skyhawks Multi-Sports Camp Comes To Orcas

The Skyhawks Multi-Sports Camp for boys and girls ages 7-12 runs during the first week of public school vacation, June 23-27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Buck Park; children who need childcare until 5 p.m. will have supervision until then.

Registration forms can be downloaded at www.orcasrec.org. The summer guide to all Orcas Island Recreation Program activities is available at the public library and at the Rec. Program office in the Senior Center. For more information, call 376-5339.

Golf

Youth Golf Clinic at Orcas Golf Club will be on Mondays and Wednesdays, June 23 – July 16 from 10 to 11 a.m. for ages: 8-11 and 12-up.

High school golf coach, Bobby Olmstead, will teach golf skills during this one hour clinic; golfers may stick around for an extra half hour after the clinic and golf some more if they wish. Beginners and those with golf experience are welcome. Registration forms are available at www.orcasrec.org or by calling the Orcas Island Recreation Program at 376-5339.

Cost is $70.
