After more than a month without a game, the Viking basketball teams returned to the court to face the Darrington Loggers on Jan. 22.
Three games all went in favor of the home team with Girls Varsity controlling the entire way to a crucial 50-34 victory.
On the JV side of things, the boys won 39-12.
The final matchup of the afternoon would be the boys’ varsity game. With playoffs looming, the Vikings needed a win and they got one dominating the Loggers for a 63-23 win.
Both squads are in the thick of the playoff race with less than two weeks remaining in the regular season. Home games on Tuesday against MVC, Wednesday facing Shoreline, Friday against La Conner for senior night and a Saturday visit to Concrete followed by the regular-season finale in Friday Harbor on Tuesday, Feb. 15 will wrap up the regular season.
